1. Who controls your data

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law, and we do not use or disclose any for purposes other than those permitted without a right to limit.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed to run the store:

• our ecommerce platform and host, Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd floor, 1-6 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 X9F4, Ireland;
• carriers (USPS, UPS or DHL), limited to what is needed to deliver your parcel;
• our payment provider, for taking payment and screening fraud;
• email and helpdesk providers, for customer service;
• advertising and analytics partners, described below;
• authorities, where we are legally required to respond.

4. Advertising, and your right to opt out

We advertise on social platforms and use their measurement tags on this store. When you consent, those tags share online identifiers and browsing activity with the platform so it can measure our campaigns and show you relevant ads. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act this counts as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and under several other state laws as targeted advertising. You have the right to opt out, and opting out does not change the price you pay or the service you receive.

To opt out: use the cookie preferences link in the footer, email help+riodrip@thesupport.care with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”, or enable an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor automatically for that browser.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling, and to be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under their own statutes.

To exercise them, email help+riodrip@thesupport.care from the address on your order, or give us enough detail to locate your records. We respond within 45 days and may extend once by another 45 days where the request is complex; we will tell you if we do. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission.

If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond to the appeal in writing.

6. Where your data is processed

We are established in the United States. Some of our service providers, including our ecommerce platform, operate data centers outside the United States, so your information may be processed abroad. Those transfers are covered by the safeguards the providers have in place, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. You can ask us for details.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections, restricted administrative access and established providers. No system is perfect: if a breach occurs that is likely to create a significant risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

8. Children

This store is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, email help+riodrip@thesupport.care and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The version on this page is the one that applies.
